Solenostemon scutellarioides Defiance ~ Defiance Coleus

DefianceColeusis a tender shade-lovingevergreenperennialtreated as an annual primarily for its dramatic foliage. Theruffled foliage with pointed tips is bright red with bright yellow edges. Its late summer bloom is non showy and is often removed to maintain foliage display. Best color inpart sunand moist, loose well-drained soils. Tolerates full sun.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:Low maintenance. No serious pests or diseases. Watch for spider mites, aphids, and whiteflies. Wilt may occur with too much sun, while too much shade may make the plant leggy.
