Plumbago auriculata ~ Plumbago Blue

Plumbago is a tender climbing evergreen perennial that forms a weeping mound if not given support. Abundant clusters of flowers that can be pink, white, or blue bloom from summer to fall. Prefers partial sunand consistently moist well-drained acidic soils, but has good drought tolerance once established. Treat as an annual unless overwintered inside.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance plant.If overwintering, cut back stems hard in winter to encourage new growth and store in cool, dark area protected from frost. Watch for mealybugs, mites, and white flies on indoor plants. The seeds can be sticky, so do not plant along paths where they can get stuck to clothes.
