Allegheny Spurgeis a native shade-loving semi-evergreenperennial that forms a dense carpet ofmatte blue-green foliage mottled with purple and white. Tiny but fragrant whitish-green flowers bloom on terminal spikes in early spring before the foliage emerges. Grows bestinfiltered shadeand rich acidic soils.
