A large shrub from New Zealand with fine, narrow, pointed foliage. It performs best in a band of broader foliage shrubs to fully appreciate its texture. It’s best seen in the early morning and evening when the low light shines through its silver foliage.
Fast-growing and easy to prune for size control. Quite drought-tolerant once established, but requires supplemental summer water until around age 3-4.
