Latin Name: Nepeta x faassenii ‘Cats Pyjamas’

: A compact cultivar. Commonly known under the umbrella term Cat Mint, this vigorous variety of Nepeta is noted for its neat and tidy habit, forming a dense mounded clump of small, soft, very fragrant grayish green leaves. From early in the summer to early in the fall season, the foliage is taken over by well branched stems showcasing showy spires of tiny, hooded, violet blue flowers with purple calyces. Very low maintenance, drought tolerant, and with outstanding long-lasting blooms, Catmint makes a lovely addition to any sunny space.
