Juncus effusus ‘Curly Wurly’ ~ Monrovia Curly Wurly Corkscrew Rush

Monrovia Curly Wurly Corkscrew Rush is a grass-like wetlandperennialwith distinctive spiraling cylindrical non-jointed stems that are loosely spiraledand spread in every direction.The flowers and seedpods are inconspicuous. Best infull sunand moist to wet well-drained soils. Though it looks coarse, the stems are soft to the touch. Has excellent deer resistance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:Low Maintenance. Can grow in up to 4″ of standing water, or garden soils if kept consistently moist. Slow to emerge after being cut back. No serious pests or diseases. Leaf spot, rust, and root rot may occur.
