Heuchera americana Coral Bells

Commonly called “coral bells,”Heuchera americana is a native perennial of the eastern and central United States. Its lobed, rounded green leaves can be tinged with shades of purple, bronze, or cream.Heuchera americana coral bells blooms in summer with small cream flowers held high over its mounded foliage.

Heuchera americanathrives in moist, rich woods. It must have well-draining soil, and afternoon shade in hot southern climates. It will be able to tolerate more sun in the north. It is evergreen in mild winters.
