Disporopsis bakerorum ‘Bill Baker’, also known as Evergreen Solomon’s Seal, has highly glossy, evergreen leaves on upright dark-green stems. Small, star-shaped, white flowers appear in mid-spring. This evergreen makes a great groundcover as it keeps its color through the seasons and spreads through rhizomes forming clumps.
Disporopsis bakerorum ‘Bill Baker’ can take light shade to deep shade and prefers moist soil. This plant is relatively low maintenance once established. Old growth can be cut back in late January or early February to make room for new growth. Evergreen Solomon’s Seal is a great addition to any woodland garden serving as an understory plant.
