Blue-green leaves with a prominent vein contrast wonderfully with large, summertime chartreuse umbels that transition to orange seed-heads in the fall. It’s a nice textural presence, a color that works well with blues and purples. A graceful, evergreen form that, coming from warmer regions around the Mediterranean, will be drought-tolerant, adaptable, and loves the sea.
This shrub is a particular favorite of bees in our garden.
