Anemone nemorosa ‘Alba Plena’ Windflower

In early spring, small elegant blooms have pincushion centers ringed with a collar of large sepals above spreading carpets of finely cut leaves; a woodland mixer, sweet and bright and clean. Please note the rhizomes of Wood Anemones root later in spring and may be shipped before plants are rooted-in.

NOTE: These are SUMMER DORMANTplants; they dry up and go “to sleep”after they bloom in spring. Other examples of summer dormant plants are Tulips and Daffodils. Do not be alarmed when they disappear with the onset of warm weather days–given proper conditions, they will be backthe nextspring, bigger and better than before.
