Slender in habit and eventually reaching up to 8 feet tall, ‘Sensu’ is perfect for small garden spots. Sensu means “folding fan” and as the new leaves unfold in spring they have a wash of orange which settles out to medium green through summer, and finally a rich crimson in fall. Elegant. Beautiful red samaras are held above the branches like jewels on vertical red stem-like peduncles.
